Availability Needed:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 PM at Valor, plus your commute time to and from Kuna and 15-30 minutes before and after each session for setup and teardown. Please only apply if this full window realistically fits your schedule.
Grades Served at Valor: Kindergarten through 6th grade
Fall Soccer: September 8 through October 14, 2026
Flag Football: October 20 through November 18, 2026

We are launching a new partnership with Valor Classical Academy in Kuna, starting with Fall soccer and rolling straight into flag football. This is part of our broader Fall hiring across the Treasure Valley, and we need both a coach and a director for the Valor partnership specifically. Someone who lives in or commutes reliably to Kuna or South Meridian, who shows up on time every Tuesday and Wednesday without fail, and who knows how to turn a kid's first season of sports into a confidence-building experience they remember.
Skyhawks Sports | Treasure Valley has been serving kids ages 2 to 13 across the Boise metro for nearly five years. This Valor partnership is our first step into Kuna, and we are building it with the same values that have carried us everywhere else: kids, coaches, and community.
Two Roles, One Partnership:
We are hiring for both tracks at Valor Classical Academy. Tell us in your application which one fits you, or which one you would like to grow into.
Coach Role:
You lead the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions directly. Skill-based soccer and flag football drills, small group management, and being the steady, encouraging presence these kids look forward to each week. This role, along with our other general Fall coaching openings across Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Nampa, Caldwell, and Emmett, is a great fit if you want hands-on time with kids and a schedule that fits around your life.
Director Role:
You oversee the Valor partnership as a whole. Coach scheduling and support, communication with Valor staff and families, quality of the program week to week, and helping us build out what comes next at this site and in Meridian. This role is for someone with organizational instincts and leadership experience who wants real ownership, not just a shift to fill.
This Is a Ground Floor Opportunity:
This partnership starts with Fall soccer and flag football, but it will not stay there. We expect basketball and other intro-to-sports programs to open up in Kuna and South Meridian as this partnership grows, along with continued Fall hiring in Meridian and across the Valley right now. The coach or director who proves reliable here will have first opportunity at what comes next.

What You Will Do:
- Lead or oversee small groups of kids through age-appropriate, skill-based soccer and flag football sessions using Skyhawks' proven curriculum.
- Introduce many of these kids to organized sports for the first time, and help them walk away more confident than when they arrived.
- Build genuine relationships with the kids in your program and the parents and school staff who trust you with them.
- Show up prepared and on time, every session, including setup and teardown, without exception.
- Represent Skyhawks and this new Valor partnership with reliability that opens the door to more.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Lives in South Meridian or Kuna, or can commute there reliably every Tuesday and Wednesday. Commuting candidates from elsewhere in the Treasure Valley are welcome.
- Can confirm, honestly, that the full 3:30-4:30 PM session window plus commute and setup/teardown time consistently fits your schedule through mid-November.
- Reliability matters more than a resume. Show up, follow through, and grow.
- A sport background is valued, but a coaching heart is required.
- For the Director role: prior leadership, program management, or coordination experience.
- Comfortable being the face of a brand new partnership at Valor Classical Academy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
