We Need a Coach in Caldwell, Starting Now

Twice a week, a group of Caldwell kids walks out of the school building and onto the field. They're hoping someone will be there who knows their name, believes in them, and makes the next two hours the best part of their day.

We're looking for that person.

This is a consistent after-school role coaching Soccer and Basketball for kids ages 6 to 13, every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 5pm. The schedule is the same every week, the kids are the same every week, and the impact adds up over time.

Who We Are

Skyhawks Sports | Treasure Valley has served kids ages 2 to 13 across the Boise metro for nearly five years. We run year-round classes, after-school programs, and camps in 10+ sports. Our coaches are the face of this organization. We pour into them the same way we expect them to pour into the kids and families they serve.

What You Will Do:

Lead small groups of kids ages 6 to 13 through fun, skill-based Soccer and Basketball sessions using Skyhawks' proven curriculum.
Build real relationships with the kids in your program and the parents who trust you with them.
Make every child feel like they belong, whatever their skill level.
Set up and manage equipment so the space stays safe and organized.
Show up prepared, communicate clearly, and represent Skyhawks with love for kids, coaches, and community.

Who We Are Looking For:

You're available every Tuesday and Thursday, 3 to 5pm, in Caldwell. We need this before anything else.
You're good with kids, and it shows without anyone telling you to be.
You're reliable. Showing up and following through matters more to us than your resume.
A Soccer or Basketball background helps. A coaching heart is required.
You have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Local to Caldwell, Nampa, or Middleton is preferred, but commuters are welcome.

Want More Hours or Other Sports? We Have Them.

Caldwell Soccer and Basketball is our most urgent need, but you won't be limited to it. We run Flag Football, Tennis, Pickleball, Flag Rugby, Field Hockey, Cheer, Multi-Sport, and more across the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Star, Avimor, Nampa, Emmett). We're hiring for:

Tots Coaches (ages 2 to 5): evenings and Saturday mornings. You don't need a sports resume, just a heart for little ones. Experience in parenting, childcare, or early childhood education counts fully.
General Coaches (ages 6 to 13): weekday afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays.
The Director Track: if you're someone who builds things, not just fills a shift, tell us. Our strongest coaches move into roles running programs and locations.
