About the Job
Title: Community Partnerships & Outreach Intern - Skyhawks Sports (Treasure Valley)

Every neighborhood in the Treasure Valley has a few people who really know their community. A school counselor, a church youth pastor, a homeschool co-op mom, a PTA president, a small business owner who sponsors everything. If those people know and trust Skyhawks, our programs fill up. If they do not, we are invisible. We are hiring an intern to make sure we are known and trusted in every corner of the Treasure Valley.

Skyhawks Sports operates across 7+ cities. As we grow, our impact on kids, coaches, and community depends on real relationships with the people who serve families every day. This internship is for someone who genuinely loves people and wants a semester of doing meaningful outreach work.

THE ROLE:
You will build our partnership pipeline city by city. Schools, churches, homeschool networks, HOAs, family businesses, community centers, and local nonprofits. Your job is to open doors and start conversations. Our leadership team closes them.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Coordinate scholarship partnerships, joint events, and cross-promotions.
  • Represent Skyhawks at community events, fairs, and school functions when appropriate.
  • Track relationships and follow-ups in our CRM.
  • Bring back stories and insights from the community that shape how we grow.
  • Enlist a group of supportive parents to affiliate market our programs.

  • You are comfortable walking into a school office or church and starting a warm conversation.
  • You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and remembering their stories.
  • You are organized enough to follow up consistently.
  • You care about the Treasure Valley and want to see kids and families thrive.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:
  • College credit for an accredited internship experience.
  • A real portfolio of community relationships you built from scratch.
  • Networking with school leaders, pastors, business owners, and community figures across the Treasure Valley.
  • Mentorship from leadership on how partnership and business development actually work.
  • Transportation reimbursement for in-person visits.
  • Flexible hours around your class schedule.
  • A letter of recommendation for standout contributors.
  • The satisfaction of opening doors that put more kids on our fields.

Skyhawks Sports - Boise opened up in April of 2022 with owners Levi & Jordan. After Levi decided to separate from the Air Force, he liked the idea of running a business, working with the kids, and the community. Fast forward to now, Skyhawks has consistent year-round classes and camps throughout various parts of the Treasure Valley, with an increasing need for family programs.
