12 weeks. 8 cities. 11 sports. Hundreds of kids.
This is not your average summer job.

From Flag Football in Eagle to STEM Basketball in Boise to Soccer in Meridian — every week is different, every group is new, and every session is a chance to be the best part of a kid's summer. We run one of the most dynamic youth sports programs in the Treasure Valley, and we need coaches and directors who can match that energy.

If you love kids, love sports, and love showing up, this is your summer.

Two Roles. One Mission.

COACH — $15–$16/hr You're on the field, in the action, leading small groups of young athletes through fun, skill-based sessions. You bring the energy, we provide everything else: curriculum, equipment, full support. No two weeks are the same, and that's exactly how you like it.

Camp DIRECTOR — $17–$18/hr You run the camp. You lead the coaches, own the parent experience, and make sure every session runs smoothly and safely. Directors are our most trusted people on the ground; you're the ones families remember at the end of the summer.

MANDATORY TRAINING DATES

All coaches and directors must attend both training sessions before the season begins. These are paid and required for all new hires.

Friday, May 16, in Nampa
Saturday, May 17, in Eagle

Please only apply if you are available for both dates. These sessions set you up for your best summer.

BONUS: AVAILABLE NOW? START THIS SPRING.

If you're ready to go before May 26, we have limited coaching opportunities available in our Spring programs starting now. It's a great way to get a head start, learn the curriculum, and hit the ground running when Summer begins. Let us know in your application if you're interested.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Lead and energize groups of kids ages 4-13 through sport-specific skill sessions across multiple Treasure Valley locations
  • Build genuine relationships with kids who will remember this summer for years
  • Communicate warmly and confidently with parents. You're the face of Skyhawks in your community
  • Set up equipment, run sessions safely, and keep the energy high from 9am to noon every single day
  • Directors: oversee coaches, manage the site, and deliver a consistently excellent camp experience
  • Grow. Coaches who shine move into Director roles fast.

YOU'RE OUR PERSON IF...
  • You walk into a room and the energy shifts. Kids notice it immediately.
  • You're a natural with groups: you read the room, adapt fast, and never lose the fun
  • You're rock solid reliable. Families are counting on you every single morning.
  • You genuinely love sports and love passing that fire to the next generation
  • You want a summer job that means something, not just a paycheck
  • You're competitive about growth: a Coach this summer, a Director by fall

A sports background helps. Experience with kids is preferred. Infectious energy and unshakeable reliability are non-negotiable.

WHAT YOU'LL GET:
  • $15-$17/hr, starting with a fast path to raises for great work
  • Mornings needed. Afternoons and weekends are optional work!
  • Free First Aid/CPR/AED - reimbursed after first program completed!
  • Paid training on May 16 and May 17
  • Real advancement opportunity. Our best coaches don't stay coaches for long.
  • A team that celebrates your energy, your creativity, and your growth
  • The kind of summer you'll actually be proud of when August comes
  • Impact on the community by supporting various partners' missions and programming

APPLICATION QUESTIONS:
  • Do you have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation?
  • Which cities work best for you? (Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Star, Kuna, Greenleaf, Emmett, Avimor)
  • Are you applying for the Coach role, Site Director role, or open to either?
  • How many weeks of the summer are you available? (Season runs May 26 through mid-August)
  • Can you attend mandatory training on May 16 in Nampa AND May 17 in Eagle?
  • Are you available to start this Spring? If so, we may have limited coaching opportunities for you before summer begins.
  • Tell us about a moment you made a kid's day, on or off a field.
